STORYTELLERS OF TOMORROW INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
WHO: UNGER MEDIA specializes in global content with a purpose, striving to make an impact and ripple effect with every story we tell. With a wide range of projects across animation, podcast, nonfiction, film, and television, our compass is to create a better tomorrow for all of us, constantly pushing to shine a light on underrepresented audiences and voices that reflect the world's tapestry. While we not only collaborate with giants of the industry, we also cultivate and mentor those who are growing in front and behind the camera, with a constant appetite for finding unique POVs and undiscovered talent.
WHAT: Our Storytellers of Tomorrow Internship Program is a hands-on opportunity for those chosen to not only learn from us and our collaborators, but also a chance for us to learn from you! You will be working directly under the CEO and will be responsible for script coverage, creative writing/visual materials, forward facing scheduling and networking, keeping an eye on trends across various sectors of the industry: entertainment, technology, up-and-coming talent, gaming, and books. Making sure we are ahead of the game and recognizing IP that is shaking up the status quo remains important to us. We welcome those who seek a culture that embraces dreaming BIG, the power of storytelling, and being your authentic selves.
INTERNSHIP DETAILS: Open to applicants both in and outside of media studies/creative writing, i.e., Computer Science/Technology, as we will touch upon the development and production process from soup to nuts, while also expanding our digital presence, website, and database. From script coverage and pitch materials, to 1-on-1 advice sessions, this position is meant for those wanting to gain the most growth possible. Needs to be proactive, reliable, collaborative, open to guidance, and ready to ask questions as we believe in open and honest communication. While this is a digital internship opportunity, there may be in-person opportunities in Los Angeles as COVID safety and health protocols remain our highest priority.
2-3 positions available. 8 hours a week over 8 weeks. Zoom for now depending on when cameras roll/COVID safety protocols.
